Excellent resort right on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Greeted very warmly upon arrival. Since it was raining, we stayed in the main building and not the cottage rooms. Rooms are huge and a mix of old world charm and practicality. Food is excellent and service is very prompt. Hospitality is top class. The resort has many activities to keep the guests occupied. Some of the activities which we tried included yoga, cycling and forest walk with a guide. The pool is temperature controlled and the steam/suana/jaccuzi are excellent additions. The resort boasts of a well maintained 18 hole Golf Course and driving range. Will highly recommend the resort to Nepal bound travelers.

Just driving in the gates of the resort whisks u away into another world. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff, well they are cut from a different cloth. They are so tentative and cater to every whim of the patrons. On Saturdays they have a BBQ buffet lunch and the selection is so large one can not eat everything without being stuffed. The flavors also are out of this world. This place really is heaven on earth. My congratulations to the management and I very highly recommend this place to all who want to escape even if it is for a little while.

For me Gokarna Forest Resort is just one of the many resorts I would like to visit again and again. There are so many reasons why. The ambience is awesome. Every single staff from the bottom to the top are so cultured, well mannered so courteous and always so obliging. The management has really trained their staff very well. The service, food, rooms and amenities are of a very high standard. We were looked after very well wherever we went in thr resort. Hats off to one and all who have made Gokarna Forest Resort one of the best in Nepal.

We stayed here after trekking to EBC. It was the perfect wind down! The only downfall was that we should’ve stayed longer. The rooms were spacious, huge twin beds. Absolutely delicious buffet breakfast. Stunning huge grounds to explore. The spa services were amazing, such a great inclusion to the resort. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would return to Nepal just for a week at this resort.

Highly recommended. Our family enjoyed our weekend getaway at Gokarna Forest Resort. The have a heated pool and jacuzzi, massage services (professional), and an amazing breakfast. We really enjoyed walking around the facilities and playing with their tame deer, riding horses, and swimming.

I found the hotel facilities sounds the best place of Kathmandu. I fully enjoyed with jungle walk, beautiful golf ground and other facilities available around the resort. The services have been provided very good. The staff are found very professional and well behaved.

We visited Gokarna Resort in the first week of Feb 2018. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely courteous, the food was delicious and most importantly their rooms are spacious with a super comfy bed. The resort is very peaceful and an ideal place to relax far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. On the whole we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to go back whenever we get a chance.

Was there as a corporate meeting trip. Food was very India like and tasted good. Overall cordial behavior by all staff. The rooms are well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. The scenic beauty and golf circuit are the best.

The property was mesmerizing with the views of Deers, monkeys and other creatures making it a different experience all together. The entire property is different from any other Hotels/ Resorts we normally stay in. I'll suggest it's a must try & stay property! Kudos!!

This little paradise on the borders of Kathmandu is the perfect place to keep your sanity if you are exploring the city and surrounding attractions. Amazing nature, fresh air, extremely friendly and professional staff, a great spa and lovely accommodations will give you the dreamed pampering for a relaxing trip. The pool and spa area add to the relaxing environment,beside the forest and the golf course. My room was very comfortable and detailed with small treats like fruits, tea, coffee and cookies. The service was outstanding and very accommodating to my special requests. Breakfast was generous and creative.Extremely satisfied

Huge property spread across 450 acres. Beautiful golf course with all the amenities one can think of. Great bungalow style rooms, excellent food and courteous staff. We used the huge courtyard for our corporate event and got all the support from the team!

I discover the place a bit by chance trying to find a quiet and green place not too far from Kathmandu. The hotel is ideally located and it is difficult to believe one can be in wild forest land so close from the city center: a fantastic surprise ! On top of the location itself, the atmosphere, the rooms, the personnel, everything was perfect. How to make it more perfect ? Add a touch of local food on the restaurant menu and keep the room price competitive.

This family-friendly resort is among the best places I have ever stayed in and visited in my life, it's so nice to live between deers, horses, monkeys, birds, in the resort located out of Kathmandu on a Golf course surrounded by forests, people can live there for more than a week not going out of the Resort with no bored Management is doing its best to make guests happy and always asking guests for any room of developments or improvements which I really appreciate in the horse riding, covered swimming pool, SPA, Golf course, chasing deers on Golf car and many many activities are really amazing, I and my family definitely will go back

We all had a great time during this weekend getaway at Gokarna. We were three families/friends with 3 kids. All of us loved it and enjoyed to the fullest. The resort has a couple of deers and rabbits which were an instant hit with the kids. Their indoor, temperature controlled swimming pool was a delight for all of us during the cool, rainy weather. The rooms were big and their service was very prompt. We had dinner at the clubhouse and the food was ready within 10 minutes of our placing the order. Everybody, including the kids, loved the food. Overall it was a pleasure to be at Gokarna and spend the weekend with friends and kids

Just an incredible experience.Hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city.the staff is willing to accomodating the guests any request.will definitely recommend for all. Nice place to be get relaxed.

Kathmandu in itself is a mesmerizing place. Gokarna Forest Resort is one such location where the beauty of nature can truly be felt and enjoyed to the maximum. Be it the warm hospitality of the resort staff or the excellent quality of the food, we were very happy with the overall service we received. The location in itself is very serene and calm. The place is lush with trees and greens of the golf course are a beauty to behold. The indoor swimming pool was a delight. The room had tasteful interiors and was very spacious. Overall an extremely memorable stay for us. Thank you Team Gokarna!

One of the best places I have ever stayed in the world and I have stayed at many places. Fantastic grounds include a full size golf course and forest filled with wild life. Food was excellent and so were the staff. I could not fault Gokarna in any way at all. Fantastic just relaxing watching the Monkeys, Deer and Eagles at the club house or just relaxing around the main hotel complex. Will return for sure after I have completed some other travels on my bucket list. Really did not want to leave. Thanks again to all staff there. Met and made some really good friends. Hope to see you again soon.

I was surprised, but we had a great holidays with my husband in Nepal !!! Nepal is such a beautiful country with a special atmosphere!!! And Gokarna resort made us just little more happier !!! Bcoz everything there was just amazing! Lovely staff, room, food, weather , animals everywhere, fantastic atmosphere, greens, spa, yoga, golf !!! Everything is just wooowwww!!! We r living in Dubai and traveling a lot, but like this service I didn’t saw anywhere !! Thanks everybody who works there!!! Special thanks to Bandana for organizing everything what we just want and wish , for our lovely anniversary cake , for care and love ! It was our one of the best trip!!! I’m sure we ll comeback there again !!!
